The Crave List: Peaches and Clean Cleansing Milk, Jasmine Body Oil, Aveda

The Crave List Peaches and Clean Cleansing Milk, Jasmine Body Oil, Aveda

Beauty products I’m craving lately!

Dreaming of Jasmine Body Oil
Mark by Avon Dreaming of Jasmine Body Oil, $12 instore or online

I LOVE the smell of Jasmine, finding it incredibly calming and delicious to the senses (I’m obsessed with jasmine tea), so if I could carry this scent around with me for half the day (let’s be realistic, body oils last a max of four hours), I’d be in heaven. I’ve seen and craved after one or two other jasmine oils (like the beautifully packaged Herbivore Jasmine Glowing Hydration Oil) but they were always wildly priced, this is the first affordable one I’ve seen. It’s a blend of jasmine petals, peach, and vanilla.

Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean Cleansing Milk by StyleMeMaybeSoap & Glory Peaches and Clean Deep Cleansing Milk, $15+shipping

How unbearably adorable is this? I wantssss itt, preciouss! Soap & Glory is one of my favorite makeup brands not just for their insanely cute, retro packaging and branding, all pink hues and block fonts, but also for the high quality of their products. I haven’t tried their skincare however, and immediately fell in love with this Peaches and Clean Cleansing Milk upon spotting it. It contains peach & “gojuice” extract and an oxyginseng daily skin detox which will help to “purify and clarify, invigorate, soften skin, and melt away makeup, dirt, and impurities for a smooth, luminous complexion.” It’s sold at Boots in the UK or online at Skinstore in the U.S.

Aveda Tourmaline Charged Radiance MasqueAveda Tourmaline Charged Radiance Face Mask, $32 on Amazon. I need a deep hydrating face mask since the Korres Wild Rose Mask has been discontinued and Laneige’s Water Pack didn’t quite work for my skin. This is definitely pricey, but Aveda products have saved my dry, thick hair, so I have strong positive feelings toward the brand. It contains avocado oil, muru butter, plant extracts, and tourmaline.

Tourmaline is a mineral – technically a mineral crystal that, like amber, jade, and others, is ground into a fine powder and used as a moisturizing or exfoliating ingredient in skincare to increase the absorption of nutrients into the skin. The mask “smoothes and refines skin immediately for a healthy glow between facials. Finely powdered tourmaline-one of nature’s most energizing minerals-boosts skin’s energy, while natural exfoliants help skin gently shed dull, lackluster surface cells-revealing new radiance.”  Paula’s Choice loves it. I will probably be picking this up at my next Aveda haircut.
